How to Create a Facebook Ad Campaign Plan

Goal: To create a high-level, concise paper that explains how your Facebook ad campaign and funnel are set up in a straightforward, understandable manner.

Ideal Result : A simple diagram that you may use to organize your Facebook Ad campaign before launching them.

Prerequisites or requirements: You must have a Facebook Business Manager account and a firm grasp of how your funnel functions and its many stages.

Why it is significant: Making adjustments to your Google Drawings template is far simpler than doing so after they have already gone live on Ads Manager. In addition, you can see exactly what is missing and what is overlapping.

When to do this: Each time you launch a sizable Facebook Ad campaign.

  • Create your present funnel

To add new elements: Click and hold the “Option” key ( Mac OS) on your keyboard while dragging the element onto the canvas. By doing this, a duplicate of that element will be automatically created for your usage.

Setting up your ads

         1.Using the template, draw your present funnel:

         

          2. You should decide whether driving makes sense at each level of the funnel:

  1. Cold traffic: Enables you to expand your clientele and grow your company.

                         Note: The top-of-the-funnel (TOFU) material you share with cold traffic    

                            is often composed of blog posts, podcasts, videos, etc. (If you are unsure,

                            feel free to experiment with your middle-of-the-funnel (MOFU) or    

                            bottom-of-the-funnel (BOFU) content working effectively with cold

                            traffic.

                     b. Warm/Hot Traffic (Remarketing) – Enables you to communicate with

                          audiences who have already visited your website and move them further down

                          the sales Funnel.

                           

                            Note: these audiences are typically more likely to buy and less expensive to

                               engage than cold traffic. Since these individuals are already familiar with our

                               material, you may think about offering them BOFU (limited-time offers,

                               customer testimonials, coupons) or MOFU (lead magnets, tripwires, content.

                               downloadable, free trials).

                        C. None – It is okay if you do not wish to take any action at a certain point of the

                                         funnel.

                           Set targeting by your side to help you choose the Facebook audiences to

                           employ (no matter if Cold, Warm, or Hot).

3Add aspects for Cold Traffic to your funnel: Cold Traffic typically performs better with TOFU material, particularly if your main offer is a high-end item. (In rare circumstances, your MOFU or BOFU might function fine with cold traffic; if you are unsure, feel free to try with that.) As a result, if you are hesitant, begin introducing cold traffic to the first portion of your funnel.

  

4.Enhance your funnel with warm/hot traffic elements: Although Ads should ideally be used for remarketing to move customers through the funnel. You might not be able to accomplish that, though, if your audience is too tiny. In that case, you might choose to combine a couple of those into a single Ad Set.

   

        a. For example, you will not be able to run an ad specifically for any step of your funnel that  

           has fewer than 100 audience members during the time you will be targeting them. If so,  

           think about running an advertisement that moreover targets individuals at a few other  

           phases of your funnel until you achieve an audience of more than 100 people (ideally,

           aim for 5,000 people or more while keeping the relevancy of your ad and audience).

          

There you go! You finally now have a general idea of what your advertisements will look like.

  1. Click File > Download as > PNG image (.png) if you wish to save it as an image to print or share with others.

 

  1. To share it with others inside Google Drawings, choose your sharing choices by clicking File > Share.
